Istanbul to Singapore

Join us for an epic overland expedition from Istanbul to Singapore, with so much to see and experience in between! Following on from our popular London to Australia expedition, we are now focussing on the countries that really suit our style of travel, so from 2013 onwards these trips will start in Istanbul and finish in Singapore, allowing us to spend more time exploring as we travel through 17 countries on our 6-month expedition.
From Turkey, the expedition travels through Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and through the wild and wacky countries of the ‘Stans, Central Asia and western China following the ancient Silk Road. The expedition then travels through south-western China, into the Tibetan Autonomous Region before crossing the mighty Himalayan mountains and entering the sacred city of Lhasa and then across the Friendship Highway and into Nepal and northern India. Just a short hop across to South-East Asia where the fascinating history and cultures of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore await.

South America
We specialise in overland tours across this incredible continent which has so much to offer from volcanoes to glaciers, jungle to high altitude grass lands, wildlife and wild Carnival, fascinating cultures and all the adventure activities you could ever want. We offer two overland expeditions in South America: South American Explorer - a 6-month expedition covering Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, and with the option to visit Paraguay, Uruguay and the Galapagos Islands; and South American Encounter - a 4-month expedition which offers a more in-depth experience in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru and Chile. BEIJINg to istanbul (eastbound or westbound)
We offer a choice of overland tours in Asia and due to the popularity of our expeditions travelling through the Caucasus, the ‘Stans and Silk Road, and China, we are pleased to offer new overland expeditions between Beijing and Istanbul from 2013. Beijing, home to the Forbidden City and Tianenmen Square amongst many other attractions can be your starting or finishing point for this expedition which travels through Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China. Kathmandu to Istanbul
Kathmandu and Istanbul are two of the world’s greatest cities – so why not travel overland between them? Our 12-week overland expedition from Kathmandu to Istanbul travels via the Himalayas and the Silk Road offering an incredible range of experiences and mix of natural and historical attractions. From funky Kathmandu in Nepal we will travel into Tibet and China, into the wilds of Kyrgyzstan, then via the spectacular and fascinating Silk Road cities of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, experience Georgian hospitality, and finally finish up in Istanbul, the meeting place of European and Asian cultures.
